How does GlimmerDrop work?

Three moves. Hints: you invite a few people who know you, and each fills out DropHints, a short set of questions about what you'd love and what's a hard no. Pick: we shortlist three gifts from their hints, and a fellow GlimmerGetter chooses one and writes you a note. Reveal: your GlimmerDrop arrives at your door with the note inside.

Who picks my gift?

Another GlimmerGetter, someone you'll never meet. They choose one of three options we shortlist from your hints, and write you a short note. You'll pick for someone else in the same way.

How much does GlimmerDrop cost?

A GlimmerDrop is $25: a $20 gift, picked from your friends' hints and delivered to your door, plus $5 for GlimmerDrop. More gift amounts are coming. The first GlimmerDrops are an invite-only pilot, so join the waitlist and we'll tell you when it opens.

What about allergies or things I can't have?

You tell us about allergies and dietary needs yourself when you join. We never ask your friends about that. If any HintDropper marks something as a hard no, it's ruled out.

When can I get a GlimmerDrop?

The first GlimmerDrops go to a small, invite-only group starting in October 2026. Join the waitlist on glimmerdrop.com and we'll email you when more spots open.
